He ran a guy over. He got the silver spoon. He is on telly loads but comes across as really thick. There is very little to like apart from his boxing ability and several losses brings that under question. Khan just isn't very likable - he's not a likable fighter. He's not a showman like Eubank or an everyman like Benn and Hatton or a character like Bruno or absolutely exceptional like Lewis or Calzaghe. He's just not very likable. There's nothing really to like. Hence, a lot of people don't really like him.

That some hate him can hardly be a surprise in a world where people hate fighters like Shane Mosley and Andre Ward.

The loser is protected and nursed, the winner is marginalised, never given a rematch. There is a lot of stuff that just stinks about Khan's career.

He brought me back a bit after the Maidana showdown but it's hard to give a **** again now.

Nail on head, summed it up perfectly.

Everytime I think of that fight it upsets me.

MAB is an absolute warrior & a legend. He didnít deserve to be treated like that. I donít think I will ever forgive Frank/Khan for the roles they played in it..

I know worse has happend in boxing, but that for me was outrageous.
a high percentage of esb'ers felt that MAB would destroy Khan when that fight was announced

He tries to be like Pacquiao in the ring & Mayweather out of it but he should just be himself!

I was a fan when he won silver at the olympics & when he first turned pro he was a nice, humble kid but now he is a deluded, arrogant fool who's surrounded himself with some real ****wits especially his best mate Saj!

He also needs to stop blaming everyone else for his shortcomings & needs to keep his mouth shut & keep his head down & work on his flaws ie defence!

Because people are blind and don't read what he actually says. They listen to what people tweet. I've seen it a million times. Some nob end the other day was going on about how Amir Khan apparently said he'll knock Mayweather out in his post fight interview after the Garcia fight.

What kind of bullshit is that?

And how continuously everyone believes how he's blaming others and his trainer, when he has not. I don't know where people got that notion from.

A lot of people would have been embarrassed to be seen for a while, or even appear on T.V, yet he appeared on BBC for the Olympics, he's set up a promotional business, and he has appeared on numerous t.v. shows.
to be honest i think this actually works against him. normally when a fighter loses like he did, they knuckle down and work hard....the way he lost his last fight normally brings humility to fighters, they dip out of the limelight for a while and just work on their flaws in the gym.

Khan has done the opposite since he lost to Garcia. He's everywhere, on the Olympics, going on about his promo shit, soccer am etc. People get fed up of seeing and hearing from him. Fair enough he's got to get on with his life, but if he went quiet for a bit, worked on his game instead of saying shit like "it was a lucky punch" people would respect that and support him when he chose to return.

Added to that every single time he opens his mouth everyone cringes.

Despite all this it is a bit of a weird one...ive got mates who know nothing about boxing but hate Khan.

No Lazarus, we can read what he says just fine and we can hear him loud and clear

Khan says so much dumb shit there is no need to make anything up.

He is at present, the most disliked boxer in the sport. (in my opinion)

Personally I can't stand the praise be to Allah bollox neither. It really helps me dislike him, especially when you do it because it suits his image but he still hangs around in strip joints.

Saddest thing is boxing is a boxer dying in the ring. If its any consolation, Barrera didn't mind the whopping he got against Khan and apparently he was paid well for it. Treated like what exactly?

Seeing that Prescott KOed Khan, Barrera picked the fight thinking it would be an easy pay day. Prior to this fight most picked Barrera since many (post Prescott KO) thought Khan was just domestic level.

Can you show us exactly when Khan has said "praise be to Allah" ? I bet you can't because he doesn't say it.

In fact, I can you show when he wished every one Merry Christmas.
