Throughout boxing the WW division just seems to always be stack. Just to name a few
1970s - Jose Napoles Emile Griffith 1980s- Benitez Duran Hearns Leonard 1990s- Trinidad Oscar Sweet Pea Vernon Forest 2000s- Cotto Margarito Mosley Floyd and Manny (even though i dont really consider them WW) Paul Williams Left alot of good fighters off the list since i gotta run, but wanted to get ESB opinion on this. From top to bottom what decade is best, worst. discuss |

70's 80's and 90's match up well together.
Hell, you can even count the 60's if you like. I think Napoles, Griffith and Curtis Cokes are the 60's. The 70's actually is Cuevas, Palomino, among others. And all era's compete with one another pretty well. Honestly, it's the 00 that seems lost among all of them. Nothing to be ashamed of, the current era has future HOFamers and ATG's, but the elite of 147 of the previous decades were truly elite. |
