Hamed wasnt over rated, he underperformed. Big difference. Watch any of his fights when he was young and tell you arnt impressed.

What is it with Hamed??
Its like 3 times a year, every year, even though we know better? Threads start popping about Hamed's greatness?

While Hamed was certainly a puncher, his game was limited! He didnt have ALL AROUND GAME He got spanked vs the only ELITE guy he faced, fought a LOUSY FIGHT vs Calvo, and zipped off to a career of being an asshole, drunk driving, amongst various other charges (strippers/prostitutes).

Now if he was an ELITE fighter worth remembering? He would have not left the game that way. Instead he let remain that while he had A level Power, he's a B LEVEL Fighter at a low weight.

P4P AT?? I'd feed a Hamed feather Sandwhich to Henry Armstrong

Because he was so ridculously overated in his day the opposite is true now. He was never going to be an atg but that dosen't mean he wasn't a damn fine fighter.

can some one give me a link to this other naz v barrera fight where mab exposed/owned/schooled the prince? because the one I saw had a cautious barrera box his way to a clear UD but one where naz still won several rounds and was never even remotely hurt in.

what in nipples name are you talking about?

how would you know the in's and out's of my views on hamed?

hamed was a very good fighter who unified and dominated the FW division over a good six year period. HOF fame material and one of the finest fighters the UK has exported over the past 15-20 years.

it's amazing how peoples sense of reason goes completely out of the window when hamed's name comes up. they can never separate the boxer from the man.

so what you saying is only americans or american-based fighters count?

twat!

Hameds win over Ingle is bigger than his win over Kelly. Americans cant see outside thier own boarders so this dosent suprise me. No doubt he chose Lacy over Calzaghe too.

hamed was the most exciting fighter to come out of britain. not the best, but definitely the most fun to watch.

Yo-- I was being sarcastic about him being over-rated.

What I mean is that he had talent, skills, ability, heart, and was a dominant champ for many years.
