Gomez' CW record & especially his title defences are terrible, fought absolutely nobody of note.

Haye is on another level talentwise & is far more proven, only Holy & Qawi beat Haye at cruiser imo

The only time Haye wasn't stopped or knocked down in a legit title fight was against Enzo ****ing Mac.

That's Haye in a nutshell.

They were on a similar level, but Haye matches up well with Gomez. I think he'd find Gomez's chin with the overhand right and take him out.

I'd only Pick Holyfield over Haye at CW.

Haye has 2 title fights at cruiserweight.
"2" and 1 loss by TKO

he could have zero fights at cruiserweight and dumb ****s on here would rate him higher than gomez.

never seen a guy get more love for doing nothing. shows how stupid the general boxing public is

gomez schools him

Who is his best win at cruiser, Dominguez? JCG fought some terrible opponents

Knocking out Mormeck, Enzo & Fragomeni > JCG's CW career

Qawi would be an absolute nightmare for Haye, he'd outwork him in close & counter his right hand all night long.

David wins.
I dont think David was even at his prime when he left cruiser...

If we were naive for a second and lets say think fighters only fight for legacy and for giving us boxing fans great fights David would have went back to cruiser and would have made absolutely great career there. That would have been something, he would have given us a fukin great fights.

But harsh reality in pro boxing is that money talks...
