How to beat Anderson Silva?
http://www.techpin.com/wp-content/up...t-handgun4.jpg And even then I wouldn't like your chances. |

No he want...he was a guy with slow reaction times and questionable chin designed to put Anderson back in the fans good books after the Leites fight...email Keith Jardine for more details...Im not sure who was top 5 when they fought, but doesnt speak very highly of the division if you rank Forest with the likes of Chuck, Wandy, Shogun, Machida, Jones and so on, unquestionably the top dogs of the division. If Forrest is the barometer for that, then well...

You said Be a Top 5 205er. Forest Griffin, at the time he and Silva fought, was just one fight removed from being Champion. I'd be interested to hear of any champion in MMA history that went from being Champion of the division to being 6th or worse. I'll even save you time: there isn't one. Ergo, Griffin was a top 5 at 205 at the time thus your suggestion is false. |

Were Bonner, or James Irvin considered a top 5 205er at the time they fought Andy? Hell even a top 10. Griffin was, maybe a top 105er...yeah...you are spot on James...why hasnt he shown even the slightes compuction to fight Bones, Shogun, Machida (granted for obvious reasons), lol you are right, Griffin is the benchmark...I feel like an idiot....
Im not saying it's a slight on the man for not fighting the guys in a weight class above him, but he HAS NOT fought the best 205ers, which is my point...cleaning up at 185 is hardly a slight |

I hear you Rob...but is saying fighting a top 5 guy in the weight class above Anderson any slight on the the man when questioned as too who ''could'' beat him...or is it a non sequitur

Most importantly, this won't be one of Silva's fights where he's just showing up to earn his check and keep his belt. He'll be highly motivated to prove a point in this fight. |
