Default Liam "Beefy" Smith Light middle elimianator?

I know its been mentioned on here but why has Liam Smith been given this shot.
IMO there are several better fighters at light middle who surely should be ahead of Smith, the likes of Ochieng, Selkirk, Hall, Price Aarom all must be pissed of with this.

I'd agree with Prince Aaron and maybe Ochieng, but Selkirk has been no where near active enough, and has not looked the part when he has fought and Hallshould surely retire.
How many times do people have the argument on here about fighters not being deserving of a shot, or having not fought at the weight the get title shots at? It happens all the time, surely we should all be used to it by now?
