Benn's best wins=Barkley,De Witt,Mc Clelllan
Eubanks best=Watson 2,Benn, gracianno rochigianni

Barkley and Mc Clellan are better than anyone Eubank beat but then again Eubank beat Benn,id say overall Benn has better wins..,Barkley knocked out Tommy Hearns and Mc Clellan was considered biggest puncher in the world and on the pound for pound list..

You've got to go with Eubank though. DeWitt, Sims and Barkley were Yank tough cases but Thornton and Essett were just as good (as proved in their fights with them or Thornton doing 10x better against Toney than Barkley did). McClellan was a powerful puncher and looked talented but Mike Watson was better in so many ways. Then there's Lindell Holmes who at his best I believe was a step above Barkley or McClellan, certainly technically. And then Rocchigiani who was streets ahead of Nardiello or Galvano... Sanderline Williams wasn't any more slippery than Essett, either.

So I'm going with Eubank, who also dealt with Logan, Malinga and Wharton a lot more sufficiently than Nigel did, and looked to have been dubiously defeated on the cards in his first fights with Collins and Thompson when Benn was already a shot fighter. He also beat Benn himself, of course, very cleanly.

Benn imo just shades it, he beat 2 top (or topish) americans in McClellan and Barkley, wheras Eubank didn't. He also won the secound fight with Eubank imo.

Whoever Benn beat, Eubank beat, because Eubank beat Benn (twice IMO). Neither were the best in their divisions.

Benn had the more eye catching wins and also was the more exciting fighter, Eubanks sometimes laboured over reasonably weak opponents. The argument is almost voided though as Eubank stopped Benn convincingly first time round and possibly dropped a decision in the fight that was scored a draw by the narrowest of margins. Benn may have a better resume and was certainly my favourite to watch but Eubank has the w and the d against him so ultimately takes bragging rights!

Tough one!

Benn took the more risks, but Eubank at Cruiser pushes his CV too!

I'd say Eubank, but only down to H2H.

There's the cruiser weight argument but at the same time, Benn was a smallish middleweight. He was a very small super mw and Eubank by comparison had a much larger frame, plus he never really won any plaudits at CW he just acquitted himself well so I don't pay too much attention to that. You have to give Eubank the nod as he beat Benn and then drew so its settled (pretty much) but Eubank never had the defining McClellan fight or the early HBO televised ko of Barklay that won Benn all his fans. Eubank got the respect

I think Benn, Eubank fought a lot of shit fighters, he seemed to want to avoid good fighters as he was scared of going to war for a time (scared of what it would bring out in him not scared of being hurt).
