I want to see if Chavez jr is all hype or not. This fight will either expose Chavez as a regular good fighter fighter or shut many mouths (if there is no controversy) So for me Chavez jr vs Martinez.

Ward/Dawson (personal favorite based on the style match up) but as far as action, DEFINITELY Rios/Alvarado. I don't see any fight this year living up to that.

He could still be the real deal even if he loses to Martinez (which he will). Martinez is number 3 pound for pound for a reason. The harder he makes the win for Martinez, the better it would do him. He can leave with his credibility in tact.

Ward vs. Dawson, just because what is at stake for both fighters.
For Ward, the chance to prove that his 2011 Fighter of the Year award was no fluke. With a win, Ward cements himself is boxing's next biggest star, and could vault his way to the top of the P4P list. For Dawson, the chance to put an end to all questions about his mental toughness. With a win against Ward, Dawson will validate his brilliant performance against Hopkins earlier this year, and put himself in prime position for that 2012 Fighter of the Year award. |

Rios vs Alvarado has the makings of an absolute war.
The others are all important and intruiging matchups, I'm expecting a few upsets in there too. All great fights. |

Donaire-Nishioka. Not only does it feature 2 of the top 10 P4P fighters (imo) but, as opposed to Ward-Dawson, it looks as though their styles will mesh to give us an entertaining fight. Both are highly skilled, have fast hands and pretty good power. Really looking forward to this.
GGG-Proksa loses points because of Proksa's last two performances, which have removed a lot of his shine. They're all good fights though. |

Total bias here, but I'm looking forward to the Donaire vs. Nishioka fight because I plan on attending the card with friends and have met Nonito, who is a great guy. The fight itself should be exciting, the venue is great, and there's nothing like a night at the fights with friends.
The Rios vs. Alvarado slugfest as a co-feature is extra sweet. |

Golo vs Proksa because Golo will be the real deal.
Then comes Martinez vs Chavez jr just because Sergio should easily destroy the fraud.. edit. If Julio wins then I know father time caught Sergio. |
