Default Belt Holders during WWII

With a major clash of arms erupting across continents & large portions of the world tied up in Military endevours I just dont see boxing during that period as relevant.

Some say SRR is the best boxer ever, well he had 51 fights during that period. How many young men were training to storm beaches or learning how to parachute out of a plane during that time.

Its surprising that the actual "war" period from what I can tell never gets mentioned, whilst its impact would have had a large effect on the sport. Maybe Burt can shed some knowledge on this.
