For you to make one grand you would have had to lay down 12,000 minimum.

1) Most people don't have 12,000
2) If you laid 12,000 on this fight you would have to be really silly - or rich.
It was an 8 way accy

That makes sense then. They he said it I read it as a single bet but an ACC makes sense.

Well done mate - apologies if any offence was caused. I always have respect for people who make money through accumulators!

I read it the same at first and thought the same. Same here it shows genuine knowledge of a sport and a way to profit from it. Going to start doing boxing accys as I seem to do pretty well with my vcash most of the time I would be alot higher if it wasn't for a few stupid bets I would never make with real money.

I had given SB a 25% Chance to win. When the fight started and his punches where as slow as my old Grandma walking up a very steep hill...I was like...well there went that 25%...down to zero. A great Champ in A.S. did what he shouldv'e done. Blowen out Bonnar

3. Whatever you think of his opposition he clowns them. He makes them look amateur and please don't try to diminish the Hendo win.
It's not his fault he is in the weakest division in the sport, but at the same time you can't blame me for debating his greatness. He ducked no one at MW but really, that's not saying much. He does make every fight look easy, but so do several other fighters like GSP and JDS for example.

How can I not diminish the Hendo win a tad? He was coming off a loss and fighting in a weight class he hasn't been fighting in for 2 years. That's suppose to be a career defining win? I'm sorry but you want to go by talent, not merit. You're calling him the GOAT because of his talent and that's fine we're all entitled to our own opinion but I hope you can understand where I'm coming from.

Sorry guys, this was a joke matchup, when I saw this I thought Bonnar was replacing someone dropping out the last minute, is this the case?

Yes.

Main event was supposed to be Aldo-Koch. Koch got injured, so Frankie Edgar stepped in for him. Then Aldo got injured. So Silva-Bonnar, the third main event for this card, was announced three weeks ago. Neither man was originally supposed to be fighting on the card.

Other fighters who were booked for this card but suffered injuries or were pulled to cover injuries on other cards:

Vitor Belfort
Alan Belcher
Rampage Jackson
Geronimo dos Santos
Gabriel Gonzaga

So when you add Aldo and Koch to that list, I think you see why we ended up with Silva-Bonnar. It's not like they booked that fight from the start, or even threw Anderson a gimme. Anderson stepped in at last notice and moved up a weight class to save the card. Most name guys weren't available. Bonnar saw a fight that motivated him, and took it.

Monson isn't bad at all. He challenged for the belt at least.

There's no Matt Serra in Anderson's title run, and JDS has one title defence. Come back when he's made 10 guys look like chumps in title fights, instead of two.

It's true. UFC is still a very young, fresh organization. Boxing has true history.
It's not even a slam against the UFC, its just a new sport and organization.
If the sport doesn't die, Anderson will be somebody remembered in the future and may be a critical fighter for the history books.. when the UFC actually has a legit history. I'm not convinced it will be around for a long time though. It isn't even what it was 3-4 years ago. Other than Silva and the Hype of Jon Jones you have a bunch of relative no names. Forgot GSP, he's a household name. But after those guys, nobody knows who anyone is anymore. A guy will win a belt, then lose it to a up and comer in his first title defense. Look at the heavies, that's a terrible class now. Looks like a bunch of Pie eating contest dudes. They just aren't exciting and the last fight with Carwin and whats his face, looked like a bar brawl and ended as a bar brawl would, with one big hail mary punch. No technique, just swingin for the fences.
The UFC needed Brock Lesnar, and that's sad to say.

Ok that explains it, still a lot of injuries though!
