I was watching Mundine - Echols the other day and heard in the commentary that Mundine was paying $6.75 to win by decision.
The way Echols gets discarded as a sub-par opponent, you would think many people would have cleaned up on those odds. |

the poll name should be 'Choc vs Geale who does your heart say wins and how'
because thats all it really is. Mundine has seem faded last 3 years for sure. But strong in last fight TKO against McKart (who went 12 with the great Geale victory of Karmizan) Mundine got KOed by Woods Mundine beat Geale in the time that they did fight (it was close, like Geale/Sturm, but Mundine won) Geale has improved, gone to Germany 2 times and won 2 world titles. Geale is favorate |

(sorry josey, just had to explain something)he's going purple as he reading it. ![]() but the wealsh are like the scots...very patriotic, and generally see the english as 'their' enemy. just dont pick a fight with 'their' enemy, or you'll be fighting all 3. sounds like brothers somehow.......

Geale has improved a lot since the first fight but i'll be interested to see has he made the improvement that in my opinion lost him the first fight. Coming in far to square on and in straight lines. Shaw said it to him on more than one occasion in the corner that if you are in punching range don't be a stationary target. He stands to tall when he is in range at times and can be a bit rigid, in range!. His footwork is superb, liked the way he drew leads from Adama in that fight. Thats what he needs to do this time. Mundine is dangerous if he is allowed plant his feet and get set. He doesn't like punching and moving, upsets his timing. Just would be nice to see Geale use his ring smarts in there next wednesday and shows us that he has a few strings to his bow, instead of the manic workrate but not entirely accurate punches.
