Default WAY TOO calm when sparring i think of other things and get hit ??

I am always so nervous unless im actually in the ring sparring then i'm extremley calm but still nervous i guess cause i can't see the punches coming at all? (new to sparring),I think about things that i know i shouldn't like other fighters first sparring sessions and things which seem weird i guess. But i feel i'm new to it so getting knocked down isn't humiliating to me and i don't mind getting hit cause i can't feel it unless it's on the nose really, why am i still so nervous when i'm not sparring?, and why am i so so calm and think about other things while sparring? Has this happened to any of you or any advice thanks?

I used to be the same way, now I'm only a bit nervous but can control it well. In the ring im always calm, its good that way after getting more experience you'll learn to think you're way through because you're calm.

everyone was the same at the start, few things fixed me like remembering to blink (i used to go in and not blink at all,my focus would get ****ed up because of this) my breathing, just concentrate on watching your breathing,in through the nose out through the mouth.
