War.

Froch wins. Tougher, stronger, hits harder, and can actually box a bit better.

Stieglitz would be brave as hell taking his licking, and would go out on his shield.

Just read on another forum that Froch-Stieglitz at a Nottingham stadium, sometime in May, was in the works. Can anybody confirm this?

It would mean Ward vs Kessler (not doing the Stieglitz fight) and Bute...... vs a Dirrell, most likely.

steiglitz has really improved, he's putting together some lovely combinations recently, and his footwork has improved also, although i dont think he can beat froch, its all about him finding the right space closing the gap and picking the right shots, which was easy for ward but i dont think robert can do this well enough. plus he doesnt hit as hard or take a shot aswell as the cobra.

froch stops stieglitz in about 8 rounds.

Completely agree with this, and it'd be a fight I'd love to see - but isn't Stieglitz-Kessler looking ever more likely for 14th April? So I fear we'll get that instead.

Froch has never beaten a SMW world champ, other than faded Reid the most accomplished SMW Froch has beaten was Magee. Other than that I cant recall Froch beating anyone who has done much at SMW.
Steiglitz has beaten undefeated WBO SMW champ Balzsay who is now WBA regular champ and beaten Gutknecht who beat Balzsay.

Froch doesnt have much of a workrate and Steiglitz has improved his. With the thought that Froch doesnt seem to jump on fighters even when he has them hurt, I could imagine Steiglitz boxing to a close UD.

Against the grain I know

People sure as heck underrate Stieglitz abilities, but Carl does have an overwhelming ring presence.
Should be a great, and close fight.

Dirrell, Taylor, Pascal, Abraham, Johnson and Bute are nobodies then?

Stieglitz was KOed some times even in Germany by third tier boxers. So Froch by murder.
