Dirrell needs to earn his spot and prove he's still what he used be. He doesn't deserve shit as of right now.

That said I think he beat Froch in a close fight and it was his very first step up in opposition in his opponents backyard and vs a complete beast like Froch....the fact that he even held his own is a credit to a young fighter in his first step up vs a guy as good and tough as Froch. He fought negatively but a lot of that can be chalked down to stage fright and he seemed a lot more relaxed on the big stage vs Abraham. My guess is he wouldn't be as jittery and negative in a 2nd Froch fight especially in neutral territory and he wins clearly. I doubt a rematch ever happens because Froch doesn't need it and by the time Dirrel proves he deserves it Froch will be close to retiring and no one will fault him for not taking the fight and rightfully so.
