Default Tips on making weight?

Gotta make 70 kg by this coming Sunday morning. Knew I was around 70 kg for the past few weeks, but now I started weighing myself first thing in the morning before eating/drinking anything to see exactly where I'm at.

Sunday: 70.1 kg
Monday: 72.2 kg
Tuesday: 71.1 kg

Not sure what my actual weight is based on those 3 numbers. I'm guessing closer to 71-72 kg though. I get closer to 73 kg when I weigh myself at night. What do you think is the best way to ensure that I make weight by Sunday? It's not that much weight so I'm sure nothing too drastic is needed. Thanks in advance.*

That sounds like just a few pounds. Are you fighting on the same day? There's an art to making weight and I would suggest that if you're not fighting the same day then get in the sauna and sweat those last few pounds out then you can rehydrate straight after. Hope that's some help. . .

Just found out the event got cancelled. It was supposed to be on the same day as weigh-ins. I was planning to just cut calories a little more over the next few days and, if needed, reduce carb/water intake the day before and hit the the sauna the night before. No need to worry about it anymore though. Thanks anyways. After a few days of rest/beer, I'll get back to training and be sure to be closer to fighting weight just in case another event pops up.

Sorry to hear, that must be disappointing.
If it helps, I normally lose about 4 or 5 pounds the morning of the fight. Which sounds similar to 1-2 kg.
I'll do some shadow boxing to work up a sweat. Wear long sleeves.
Then only drink small amounts when i'm thirsty. And eat less.
I end up a pound or two below the limit.
This cut in water weight tends to be effortless and doesn't affect my performance.

All tips are nice for making weight. In my opinion exercise in gym and lot of healthy food help us in making some weight. I will keep this information in my mind. Good sharing and nice topic.
