I'd have liked to see the fight but it's not a great shame.

The ideal thing is to rest his knuckle and face the winner of Mares-Moreno (probably Moreno).

Fight was going to be a mismatch anyway, Donaire will probably win by a wide UD win.

What do you expect?, he already fought 3 times this year.
He needs a little break.

He should rest his busted knuckle IMO and fight next year.

We know Arce has been pricing himself out of the fight, but Rigo ? Other than nonitos comments we don't have any official statement from any promoter, camp or manager.
As far as we know , Rigo will take that fight tomorrow ,either at California ,Miami or the phillipines

Why is this bad news? It was a setup fight anyway, Arce would have been murdered

I would have respect for Nonito if he turned it down due to it being a shitty fight, but if it's a money issue:

As a neutral, I'm glad this isn't happening. Shit fight in a pretty stacked division.

Good for Donaire, if he did it for the sake of fighting a higher calibre opponent. I saw him beating Arce fairly easy, hope he ops for a Mares or Rigo, eventhough he said he couldn't really get up for Rigo.
