Anyone who was actually watching boxing and paying attention then knew MAB was still at the top of his game.

You might fool the idiots, and there's a bunch on this board, but you don't fool those who actually have been watching this sport for a long time now.

You're so hell bent on sticking it to Pac fans you'll resort to saying stupid shit.

So this is a meaningful fight

Isn't Pac already 2-0-1?

It says that EVEN in 2004, Marco Antonio Barrera is #7 P4P Best Fighter.

The Ring Magazine's Annual Ratings: 2004

2004 - Pound 4 Pound.

I would say yes.

Unless the prime can only be that version of the fighter from a single fight, in which case a prime fighter seldom loses.

Get off Pac's dick please.

So Tzyu was prime when Hatton beat him? Whitaker was prime when Oscar beat him?

According to pactards, you are not far off. Pac's prime lasted only two years if you ask them.

First of all, I'm trying to point out that Barrera was still in his Prime in 2003,
What's wrong with you? Just because Pacquiao is mentioned, you don't have to talk like a kid about it.

Why don't you hop off Mayweather's & De La Hoya d!ck?
Funny because in other threads I have given Mayweather credit unlike you who bash on Pac.

By the way, Tzyu when Hatton beat him, Tzyu wasn't even in the Top 10 P4P at that time.

Unlike Barrera who was rated at #7 p4p around when Pac & Barrera fought.

he was definitley still in his prime when he fought pacquiao. he may have been a little battle tested, but was still in his prime no doubt. pacquiao was just a stylistic nightmare for barrera. his punch output was too high and there was nothing barrera could do to keep him off him.

agreed. i think thats the really defining thing about barrera. even after being defeated by junior jones, pacquiao, and morales (although that first fight could have gone either way). he still went on to reinvent himself ,improve his game, and perform well against top competition. he really rebounded from losses well and didn't seem to lose confidence afterwards. to me that's a true charateristic of an all time great.
