My thing is. This is what young fighters are supposed to do. They're supposed to think they're the best and would body the competition. People are just mad cause he emulates and looks up to Mayweather Jr.

JMM is physically past prime, but not by a lot. He looked really strong, fast, and explosive in Pacquiao-Marquez III. The JMM today is performing at the highest level of his career due to his ring IQ also being at its highest point.

.Even the commentators were mentioning the fact that Marquez looked a bit "sluggish" at times. |

He was fast enough with that muscle to keep up with Pac less than a year ago. Please tell me what other fighters can keep up with Pac. Go on i'll wait.

Oh, yeah - Fedchenko the Tune Up. The wiry Russian who came only to survive. You don't think Marquez trained at 110% and actually got up for the fight, did you? After all, Marquez refused to fight Rios/Khan/Guerrero/Judah because he only wanted Pacquiao. In any case, JMM cruised and almost stopped Fedchenko in the 12th.

Do you really think he was at his best against a guy no one had ever heard of? He looked like crap when he took that tune up before the Pac fight too. Really sluggish and chubby. Then he went on to school Pac one more time a few months later.

Fighters train differently for different fighters it was obvious Jmm was taking a backseat in the Fedchenko fight. In Marquez-Pacquiao 3 his foot movement was faster than its ever been his timing was perfect. He didnt get ko'd and matched or surpassed Manny punch for punch you have to have some speed to at least hang with Pacman.
