If Haye is true to his word and only comes back to meet a Klitschko, then maybe I could see him taking the Wladimir option rather than wait around for Vitali. But I still reckon it's more likely he'll go down the interim WBC title route and hold out for the older brother.
Haye v Tyson Fury for the interim WBC crown would be absolutely terrific. Let's face it, the heavyweight division needs something to happen - fast. In a crazy way, and obviously without all the crack addicts, I hope that we are heading back towards the 'Lost Generation' of the 1980s: a bunch of heavyweights who all fought each other and spawned a host of different champions. During that era we were fishing around, hoping for a new face to emerge - and then along came Mike Tyson. Read more at [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] The best rumours are those that are believable, and this makes a lot of sense. Hennessy is pushing Fury to be Number one contender and the WBC would happily sanction a Haye interim title fight, the winner to take on Vitali. Nice little earner for them with sanctioning fees. This would do great business (Channel 5 pushing it, perhaps (unfortunately) Primetime PPV). Put it on in April at the O2 and then the winner takes on Vitali in a Stadium fight in July. Also good tune up for Haye in fighting an agressive, taller fighter. Thinking it through, given DeGale is with Hennessy now...supporting contest of Groves v DeGale for some title?! What a great night this would be for British boxing. |

there was nothing to back it up, just an idea from Bunce. Wishful thinking.
I think Haye being WBO mandatory is a good negotiation ploy for the Vitali fight. He can say "offer me a good deal or I will fight your brother again" |

It's entirely plausible though.
I think Haye would like to fight on terrestrial telly (don't all fighters) and may do it if he is guaranteed a purse like Frank did for the Chisora fight. |

Once again Bunce completely ignores the main actual players in his scenario that not surprisingly come from outside of Britain. Arreola vs Stiverne is already in play for the mandatory or vacate WBC belt. Hell it even has the weight of Don King behind it.

Do Primetime and channel 5 have some sort of link? No reason why this can't be on Primetime if they do.
The WBC are weird they have the Arreola-Stiverne fight billed as an eliminator (Stiverne also holds the silver title), Banks v Mitchell in a 'semi-final eliminator', Haye isn't rated by them (yet) and Fury seems to think he'll be WBC number 1 after his upcoming fight! I wouldn't be surprised if they fucked off Arreola-Stiverne-Mitchell-Banks for a Fury/Haye fight. It'd make them the most money so is probably most likely; they are after all, serious gold-diggers. |

To be honest I think Vitali will decide to fight Haye, there is nobody else out there that will make any decent money The WBC really needs to do a damn tournament or something |

Haye is worse than Floyd Mayweather, if you want to be a boxer, guess what David, you box, the champs don't come to you, you have to earn your shot, so if the champs can't do a fight just yet, guess what, you fight others to keep your head in the game and remain active, but also remain a problem.
The snobbiest fighter in the sport, he only has eyes for 2 in the division, and isn't willing to fight anybody else in the meantime until those fights. Didn't he get his license back? Why exactly did they give it him? |

even if he did fight an adamek or an arreola and beat them, the internet crew would make up excuses etc. Vitali said for Haye to beat chisora then he'd fight him just waiting on vitali now. |
