The commentators mentioned they thought Lamotta`s ribs were broken from Robinson`s body shots in their 6th & last meeting for Jake`s MW title in 1951.... don`t know if his ribs were broke but I could believe it, Jake looked in terrible pain.

Tommy Morrison broke at least one rib of that weird looking, skinny Russian southpaw- Yuri something, trained by Tommy Gallagher, with one or two left hooks to the body after being outboxed for about 5 embarrassing rounds.

Richard the Dream Williams broke one of the Eastern European retards he fought early in his career with bodyshots- I've not seen it but I read about it, probably in the UK's Boxing Monthly.

Australia's Tony Mundine Snr broke ribs in the gym with pillow gloves on at least two occasions that I have seen.... This was in his post-Monzon late 70's Light Hvy incarnation.

Does anyone know whether Tyson broke Spinks' ri with the right hand bodyshot he initially dropped his with? I'm not sure about it, but from memmory it looks like a good candidate.

Surely Marciano, Frazier and Louis have multipled 'rib' victims- anyone know any names other than Schmelling of the Louis rematch?
