The long range left hook is faster to the mark than the straight right?

Generally speaking if two people are of equal speed and equal square on distance from each other.

I know the straight right cross is faster than the left hook. But what about the long range "educated swing" left hook? It dosnt travel such a curved path and has longer range than a regular left hook.

But the straight line comes from further back and the curved line starts upfront and is now only slightly curved?

a left hook over the top is a counter to the right hand. when ur right hand is extended make sure your shoulder is covering your chin and bring the right hand back fast as you can to minimize the risk of being countered by th left hook. When ur elbow is in the "v" position is when u are open for the counter

no matter what kind of hook, you leave yourself open for a straight right. And to get power in a hook, you got to rotate. Its not just curved line vs straight line.

From the orthodox stance, it can conceivably be faster but you are wide open to a right counter.
