There are still questions that are yet to be answered concerning Broners chin and his conditioning to deal with the work rate and pressure DeMarco brings. We know Broner can crack and has speed in his hands and feet. So it should be no surprise to see him out box Antonio in the early rounds.
Can DeMarco catch Broner with a flush shot? How will Broner take the shot? DeMarco is a tough durable kid so I really don't see him getting KO'd. But if Broner is good at this weight and has no issues, I can definitely see him taking a UD. |

I could understand why people think Broner will outbox Demarco easily, but there's nothing in either fighters history to speculate a stoppage win.

I think DeMarco really lays it on mid-late after taking something of a beating in the first few rounds, busting Broner up and forcing him onto the back foot. Broner manages to survive however, and picks up a controversial decision.

Broner more of a complete fighter, seems more ring savvy, but DeMarco has more experience in big fights, tho here it wont matter much as Broner is overconfident. DeMarco's taken on bigger punchers, but no one with Broners speed and with DeMarco's questionable defense its spelld disaster for DeMarco. I dont see DeMarco as a bonafide fighter, he has heart, but if he relied more on a jab and quicker feet he'd be twice the fighter he is. He was getting outboxed by Linares who has no defense despite his good boxing. Only way for DeMarco to win is keeping his hands high, push Broner back wilh relentless pressure, and do a Castillo on him. If DeMarco can handle Broners power, speed, and combinations, we will have a fight. DeMarco has to let his hands go and hurt Broner in order to gain his, respect. Winnable fight for either one. 12 rounds of hell is what both need to prepare for. Jabbing or hooking to Broners body and seldom landing shots upstairs is the best gameplan DeMarco can have. A headbutt can also be a fight changer and could happen.

i'm choosing Broner to win but i'm not overlooking Demarco and acting like this is going to be an easy fight. both will be pushed to the limit. this is one of the few legit fights we're having in 2012. gonna be epic. |
