Default Is Dereck Chisora gonna be a shot fighter already?

He's lost four of his last five fights, three were gruelling 12 rounders where he took a lot of shots and just walked through them, he then got bombed out by Haye in 5 rounds.

I think he might be damaged goods now tbh, the chin has been cracked and wont be so granite anymore I don't think, to be honest I don't see his career going much further.

They'll give him a few confidence booster wins and then stick him in with David Price, he'll get knocked out again and you'll probably never hear from him again.

Anyone else share this telepathic theory of mine?

I think they rushed him into big fights way too soon because the guy had quite a good level of potential.

If that's the case then he should be remembered for his run of opponents and taking on all comers, I'll remember him as warrior.

I think he would beat price to be honest. It was the speed against haye that did for him,Price is nowhere near as fast and Id back Chisora if they fight next year.
As for his other losses, everyone thought he had done enough against Helinus,he was clearly not motivated for Fury which was understandable after all the ****ing about regarding the Wlad fight. His other loss was Vitali who is the best heavyweight about and has dominated the division for a fair while.
I think chisora will be ok,not saying he will be a world beater but he has some good nights left in him yet.

I'll remember him for having his level exposed so completely. Fury, Vitali and Haye absolutely showed him up.

Heaven forbid we should praise a fighter for taking on tough fights.

He deserves praise for that, but he doesn't get praise when he lost three of the four comprehensively. It's so true that the British love a loser!

I'll remember him as a relatively weak British champion. His best win is Sam ***ton. He'd be KO'd if he fought Helenius again, he would've been stopped if he hadn't gotten injured.

In reality he is a toothless yet brave tiger.

I don't know about shot...but a loss is a lot more damaging these days than it was years ago, and to be fair to Chisora, he's gone in against tough opposition in the form of Vitali and Haye for someone who hasn't had that many fights. But yeah I think he'll end up at around journeyman-level eventually, but it'd be good to see him in with David Price.

He nearly KO'd Fury, and would have done if he'd been in shape, and he made Vitali run around the ring like Amir Khan.

Helenius made Chisora run around the ring with his only clean punch of the fight. Haye had him done just like Del Boy falling through that bar. Even Sam ***on had him hurt

When he's declared "shot", a myth will emerge that he actually had some sort of "PRIME".

Truth is, he did better than expected against Helenius and Vitali.
But it was never a surprise that he lost to Fury or Haye.

I don't see how anyone thinks Chisora can beat Price.

No, but he needs to pick his next fights carefully. Another tough loss and he may struggle to come back, and he might not have the stomach for it.

I know it gets thrown about a lot on here, but I think he could do a lot worse than re-camp to the States for 18 months - 2 years and build up a following over there. Plus I think he can comfortably handle most of what HWs they've got to throw at him.
I also think the US fans will warm to his come forward style and bad boy attitude.
