The best result for Khan would, in my opinion would be a tough points win. Looking ok, but fading badly at the end, eating a few decent shots, and not being able to hurt St. Clare.
This would make for a decent spectacle and may even teach Khan a bit of respect. If he easily stops St Clare, the hype will be cranked up another notch or two. ESB will attract a whole load of new members before Sunday morning, all spouting the usual shite that we have had to suffer recently. |

khan to win by Sports Network style stoppage (i.e. premature) by round 8.
i think after ignoring the hype (hard i know) this is clearly a good bit of matchmaking for a prospect at this stage in his career. although i dislike elements of khans personality, i imagine lots of kids would act like that given the money and media hype. i just want him to ignore all this and get on with boxing. at the moment its like he wants to be a famous first and a top boxer second. |

Like TFFP, I see a Khan UD or possibly a stoppage in the later rounds. |

If this St Clare guy is such a great match up for Khan why wasn't he brought in instead of the Danish fighter originally? St Clare was obviously available and presumably in shape, so what's the catch?
I have this feeling that what we see in the ring will bear little resemblance to what he might have once been, or what his record tells us. Perhaps I'm being too cynical, but I reckon FW doesn't want to risk another "testing" like the Limond fight. |

Khan will dish out a serious beating. He is better in every department (except chin) and Clair is ready to be stopped in the 8th round. Gairy may catch Khan a couple of times and will make a good fight of it but he looks too plodding and open.

khan points.
anything better than that would be impressive. st clair is not a bad fighter , the height difference and khans speed will be a problem to khan and st clairs experience and know how should mean he gives khan a decent test and teaches him a few old pro tricks. khan camp should have a gameplan against the st clair style and should box conservativley dont throw wastefull shots which have no chance of landing and be patient and use leg speed to close down. if khan just walks after st clair and flais away i will be dissapointed , i want to see if he is learning in the gym and becoming less hyper in fights. having the whole of his family IMO at ringside is making him fight to the crowd instead of fighting and boxing what is in front of him. hopefully we will see a calmer /mature khan in the ring tonight. |
