This one might seem like a no brainer but consider these points before you answer.
Butterbean had an amazing string of 1st and 2nd round KOs. This means he could hit. Bean is short and Ali is tall. This means the Ali would be punching downward. This would lessen the power of his punches. Butterbean would be hitting upward increasing his leverage. Ali would be fighting with his hands down by his side. His gut would be an inviting target for Butterbean. Repeated heavy blows to the midsection would bring anyone down. Ali's #1 tactic of holding behind the head would be ineffective. Butterbean has no neck. Ali would be trying to hold a sweaty bald head. His gloves would repeatedly slip off. I believe Ali's mental game would suffer. He would realize he could not have his way with a "lesser" opponent and become frustrated and therefore careless. He might also panic when he found he could not hold behind the neck. I don't know how it would turn out, but this would be Ali's toughest fight. It could go either way. |

Boring UD12 for Ali.
Might become funny if Ali starts acting cocky takes too much risk and walks into an overhand right... Depending how old Ali is in that bout he could get KO'd by it, if it hits his chin clean. (Henry Cooper nearly KO'd Ali when Ali was 22 or so) But that would be only if Ali would be acting too stupid, if he can keep his focus he wins all 12 rounds... easily. Eric has 20 first round KOs btw. |

Earlier in his career he would gas himself in the first round going for the 1st round KO but later he learned to pace himself. Butterbean is also doing MMA now which needs a lot of cardio. The only thing that might happen if Butterbean gets cut and the ref stops it. But I don't think Ali is knocking him down. |
