I think it was Circa 1970, Al Blue Lewis was taken to Detroit and allowed to try out his big left hook on a wired up crash test dummy, the reading was "Severe but Survivable.." Earnie or George might of registered a greater severity ("Īmproved") on that ?

What would happen, I wonder, if like, Tex Cobb got hit in the face by like, George Foreman who smashes his face with a brick instead of a closed fist, like? Do you think that would hurt more? Bet Cobb would go down then.
Whose face would be more bloody after that do you think? Cobb's or Rocky Marciano's? I say Marciano because he's Italian. |

A full power punch would knock a man out, most probably.
Whether or not he had other injuries, the size and strength of his neck, and the location of punch would determine more permanent harm. This should be no revelation. |

Aren't a professional boxers fists classed as lethal weapons?
I'm sure I remember Ricky telling me that once on a night out. Serious injury is probably a guarantee. |

I'm sure both of them fought a fair few tomato cans who weren't much more than 'average men'.
Anyone 'average' would end up somewhere on the KNOCKED OUT COLD - DAMAGED - KILLED spectrum. |
