i am tempted to say primo carnera because he did have "real fixed" fights..yet...i think its a bit unfair to him because it plays into the idea that all his wins were fake..and i dont think they were.i think he actually learned to box some..he had a pretty good jab and could move decent for such a huge man.

i am not willing to call anyone's career a fraud.

very few champioship bouts have been proven fixed(as far as i know)

spanish paralympic basketball is the winner for me. (i forgot the year but they were mostly not actually disabled)

honourable mentions: 1919 world series, prosecuted serie b players, too many atp/wta 500 matches,

i am not saying boxing (or cycling) is/was clean, but it gets an unfairly bad rap compared to other sports

I believe that about Butterbean.

His KOs look fake. He lunges forward and touches the opponent with a glove and he goes down for the count.

Of course there are a lot of "dives" in boxing, but it's the guys who are doing the dives that are the fakes.
With a guy like Butterbean, the people who pay to see him just want to see a freak show so it's not really a fraud. They get entertained and go home happy. It's showbidniz. Proper fans know his record was meaningless.
Certainly no one mistook him for an ATG.

i dunno bout that from the video, most of those look legit, they aint good fighters and they are getting hit by a 300lb man with suprisingly(to me) quick hands

The KOs on the Butterbean video look legit to me, but he did probably had a few guys take dives too. They wouldn't necessarily make it to a career highlights video.

Brian Nielsen - again, not an ATG - had some very suspicious wins.
