Hopkins can't keep up with his workrate or speed. Cleverly isnt Pascal. He's not gonna let Hopkins fight his fight then tire late after barely throwing punches.

Hopkins is done Cleverly might stop him honestly.

Hopkins wants no part of Clev. A fight with Dawson is the big one.

Bhop is too ring-smart for Cleverley, he'll make Nathan fight his game and won't do dumb shit like sit on the ropes. I'm not a fan of either fighter, but Nathan is way too inexperienced to go in with someone like Hopkins. Even Calzaghe had his hands full and he's 5 times the fighter Cleverley is even at 36.

Nice body shots by Orozco. Left to the head by Orozco. Nice Right by Escobar these guys are fighting early. Nice Hooks to the body by Orozco guy is working hard. Nice left to the head by Orozco. Nice right by Escobar but Orozco is throwing more. Nice right hook and left uppercut by Escobar but Orozco is right on him. Great bodywork by Orozco! By left hook by Orozco. Nice combo by Orozco to end this exciting round, Which he should have clearly taken.

How is Hopkins going to beat Cleverly? He has no power, no speed, no workrate or stamina. His reflexes are almost completely shot. His legs have been going the past few fights.

All he has is his IQ which can't help when your body can't keep up. You DSKAB.

Hopkins isnt half the fighter he was even at 42 and Cleverly's speed and workrate are good enough. And he also throws his punches with better technique then Sloppy Slappy Joe. And Hopkins LOVES the ropes and doesn't have the legs to stay off the for a full round let alone a full fight.

Yeah and its been about 5 years since he fought Calzaghe and in the end it was work rate that done Hopkins. The guy is ancient now and it's not like hes a power puncher, so Clev will get to work with the hand speed and the work rate will win it in the end.

I don't really rate Cleverly that highly but at this stage in Hopkins career he won't cope with the non stop punching coming his way. He's only effective when a guy is fighting at a pace that would suit him, like Pascal in the second fight let Hopkins dictate the play. Pavlik was just plodding around the ring looking for big single shots. Cleverly is a different animal, he will be too busy, too quick and won't tire down the stretch.

The work rate will win the rounds for Cleverly and Hopkins won't have that extra gear to live with it, he'll resort to spoiling, like he usually does when things aren't going his way. I can't honestly see an almost 50 year old Bhop live with a young buck in Cleverly. Wouldn't mind if I was proven wrong and Bhop wins it, but I can't see it when you break it down.
