Default Mares belongs in the top 10 P4P

No question about it any more, I don't think. Wins over Moreno, Darchinyan, Agbeko, Morel and the draw with Perez are all good results. He's a top class, versatile fighter. He just needs to watch the low blows but that's my only criticism of him.

He has done enough to belong with the elite.

yeah I think so. It probably is because he's not very liked after the low blows

people were saying Moreno was P4P top 10, so Mares with this win should easily be in there.

Take away the low blows, biased ref, and bad judging, and he would have two losses. He is one dirty mother ****er. **** him. The rules have been bent for him on more than one occasion. You almost have to be a Eunuch to fight him, because your balls, are going to get clobbered.

I hope the next guy he fights goes foul for foul with him.

HOpkins was also a dirty fighter and still considered a top 10 PFP fighter (not saying Mares is there yet)

No doubt about it, with the wins on his resume: Agbeko (twice), Darchinyan, a shot Morel, and now Moreno, also Perez whom he had a draw with, although many thought Mares won.

Definitely, although if Viloria manages to win impressively against Marquez then he may have a shout too.

I agree and respect to him, but he's dirty as ****. I find it ironic how much you talk shit about Ward and his win over Kessler, yet no reference to the blatant fouling tactics of Mares. Either way, congrats to Abner he's a warrior.
