No, no, no. No more using up the next generation before they've got the fights. Let the guy defend his regional belt a couple of times. It should be Povetkin or Arreola next.

Does it matter who's next? IMO Wladimir Klitschko is on a different level than the rest of today's heavyweights, and while there may be a few that haven't had their chance yet who could perhaps cause him some problems, the end result will be the same. Klitschko only loses those belts when he retires.

Using them up? Wasn't Arreola already used up by Vitali and Haye by Wlad? They're still capable. A loss isn't the end.

Povektin should of happened already. Pulev is 31 , he already has what it takes or he doesn't. If he doesn't , there is plenty more out there who want a shot. He is not the only decent HW prospect.

Not sure what Arreola is planning on doing anyways. He was offered a title shot by the K camp for late 2011 and they declined it. I don't think he's going to become mandatory with any organization neither so I am not sure how they're planning to get in line for a title shot otherwise.

This is what I'm talking about. Fighters need time to develop. Wlad had what, twice as many fights as Pulev when fighting for his first world belt?

Arreola turned down 2 title shots against Volodymyr and is waiting for Vitali to retire so he can fight for the vacant WBC belt. Don King with Stiverne is doing the same thing thats why they've been waiting around more than a year delaying the Arreola-Stiverne fight until it can be for a vacant WBC title shot.

And how the hell would you know that?? You're saying you know, unequivocally, that this fighter wouldn't improve with five fights in world class company?

Fighters who are world champs dont need to time to "develop". Haye had one 1 HW weight fight before he fought and beat Valeuv for the world title. Ward didn't need time to "develop" when he enterd into the super6. Povektin has been developing into Homer Simpson. He was a far better fighter 3 -4 years ago.

Pulev has to fight the Adamek-Cunningham winner and Povetkin/Sauerland are pushing to fight Vova for Feb 27th. Klychko said they will start trying to negotiate with Povetkin on Monday.

Where's the "another" come from?
Pulev would be great, but Povetkin better, as the more established heavyweight, I feel. Plus, I think they're being forced together to sign next, no?

I would be pissed if Adamek managed to derail a Pulev title shot. I do favor Pulev against Adamek but nothing is guarenteed.

This is total nonsense and a generalisation of the worst time. I think you'd struggle to find an industry person to agree with you. Almost every fighter i've ever read describes a learning process that never ends. Even Wladimir himself will likely learn some new details with a new coach.

Quote:

And yet he, himself, described his improvements fighting in the super six. He himself, disagrees with you.

The competition, that's what does it. I mean, you can fight C-level guys and look great, and you can fight B-level guys, and old veterans and look great and you can do what you want to do. But when you fight A-level guys, you know, it causes you to step your game up.

What you are saying is just flat-out untrue i'm afraid, and almost every fighter or trainer would agree with me.
