Seems the WBA said Wlad - Povetkin has to happen by July 2013. I guess that'd give both guys to each have one more fight between. We'll see what happens.

I can't really get too worked up about this for two reasons: one, Povetkin stands no real chance, and two, Povetkin has a history of pulling out with inventive excuses.

Boytsov shouldn't even be on the radar.

Excellent, fight Povetkin and Boytsov will follow. In my personal opinion, Wladimir is proving to be worth in his long reign as a Heavyweight Champion so it's up to the contenders now. Let them fight each other and one name come up to face Wlad.

He has already beaten arguably the number 2 or 3 heavyweight ALIVE, David Haye, and now that he would like to fight arguably the number 3 or 4 heavyweight ALIVE, you people say he's going to fight a tomato can LOL. Wladimir is just simply too good for anyone on the planet. You all say this is a weak division, but maybe it's just that Wlad makes it LOOK like a weak division. It's conceivable that this version of Wlad could have possibly dominated a lot of eras, notably the 70's, 80's and 90's. Don't even start on the 40's or whatnot. Those fights would have been laughable lol

Well I can agree to a certain extent that Wladimir makes his opponents look really bad just like a Floyd mayweather.


But this era is still alot stronger then the 40's era where marciano ruled.


Wladimir looked a million dollars last night and I was impressed with how he wanted to knock him out from round 1. We should be thankful for being able to watch history every time he fights since when it's all said and done he will probably go down as a top 5 heavyweight of all time.
