Best 'Match-Ups' Of 2012

Note: I'm not talking about FOTY candidates, I'm speaking about the fights of 2012 where the Best are fighting the Best and the fights that the public has demanded came true. The fights where each fighter is world class and you're not really sure who will win. and of course, two young, hungry fighters with winning streaks facing eachother.

Mayweather Vs. Cotto
Ward Vs. Dawson
Martinez Vs. Chavez Jr.
Haye Vs. Chisora
Burns Vs. Mitchell
Quillin Vs. Hassan
Froch Vs. Bute
Garcia Vs. Khan
Rios Vs. Alvarado
Mares Vs. Moreno
Broner Vs. Demarco
Guererro Vs. Berto
Lara Vs. Vanes

The ones I enjoyed the most:

Martinez vs Chavez Jr.
Bute vs Froch
Khan vs Garcia
Mayweather vs Cotto
Haye vs Chisora

Some more potentially great fights are yet to come. Pretty good year.

Quillin/Hassan was the best matchup this year. Truly a 50/50 fight.

Froch vs bute
Pac vs bradley
Dawson vs war
Lara vs vanes

Antonio Demarco vs. John Molina looked like a hell of a fight when it was announced. I remember thinking it would be the fight of the night.

i was thinking about putting that one down. alot of people, including me, was excited about that fight.

i'm kind of on the fence about the Donaire-Nishioka fight because nobody really cared for this fight and thought he would win easily anyway.

Rigondeaux was the fight everyone wanted. but i guess it was top fight "on paper"

excellent fight, I seriously underestimated hassan, was confused why the commentators were picking him to beat hard hitting quillin. with hindsight it was a 50/50 fight
