Why not? For his experience level this is great exposure.

WAR DINU! Knock 'em all out.

It's a good sign because he wants to make himself known and get those kind of fight. Eurosport is the best thing he has acces to at this stage of his career, hopefully later followed by ESPN.

You know what's strange, once I looked the former Biggers Better winner Constantin Bejenaru, the moldovian/romanian how you like to cale him, basically it's almost the same for me... and guess what boxrec then, they did recognized those bouts. Now Intrigued by what you said, I checked again, and surprise... those fights were gone from his record on boxrec. Strange.
But now to be fair, I remember the Romanian commentator on Eurosport making fun of the rules they agreed on for this show and the fights in it. 1 that I remember was that they can either fight with shoes on or barefoot thing that was left at the choice of the participants.

I think he realized it when he tried to challenge the fellow countryman Christian Hammer(real name Cristian Ciocan) who isn't even than known and was refused because he wasn't at the same level of recognition(Hammer the European WBO champ said). Hammer also motivated his decision to refuse as I wanna go up, why should I go down from here? This fight would be a step back for me.

Dinu would smash Hammer...and will likely destroy whatever array of amateurs or MMA or kickboxing and mugs they get to fill out the BB roster.

Hammer probably knows it to. So other guys with decent names out there, that's why I said high risk low reward. Dinu isnt known even by the majority of hardcore fans.

There are no real 'names' in the draw with him.

1. Nikolas TSOUKALAS . Greece
2. Edmont BALTATZIS . Greece
3. Alexander Kartozia . Georgia
4 Ozkan Cetinkaya. Turkey
5. Bogdan Dinu . Romania
6. Vladimir Toktasynov . Russia
7 . Symon Was . Poland
8 . Dmitry Bezus . Ukraine

The journeyman Turk is the only guy I've heard of.

Wasn't Steffen Kretschmamn going to be in this one?

The prize is pretty decent from what I remember no ? you can do this type of money only if you fight a champion, and you are not so known. I think the amount of money you would win is equal to that of what Magee done against Bute. Or about how much Bika does right now.

Oh Nvm I thought it was 250.000 but its actually 25.000 not that big prize. The exposure is more rewarding.

Ya prize money is $30,000 (just under 20,000), which tbh is massive money for fights of this level. Guys have earned less fighting for World titles....

Too bad Bogdan Dinu doesn't have a good promoter.

People complain about a lack of good heavyweights, yet talented HWs like Bogdan, Denis Boytsov and Mike Perez are being ruined by poor management.
