Carl Froch has his fair share of haters, but generally he's very respected for hits guts.

You can't really criticize Carl Froch, he always fights the best.

In the UK ''loved and respected'':

Frank Bruno
Henry Cooper
Nigel Benn (maybe, everyone wanted him to beat the arrogant Eubank, ex-army, blah blah blah)

I would say they were top three, some are respected and not loved, others are loved but not respected.

You could probably add calzaghe, people like Eubank, Hamed and Froch are respected but not really loved.
