Green wasn't the first to apply that expression to his win over Roy by the way. But he did pick up on it afterwards.

Those words have never rung more true than ever for Green, but how do you see a prime for prime match between the two go down? I see Danny's underated jab causing problems for RJJ moving atheltic style, close fight but maybe Roy edges him in a SD victory.
So if Shane Cameron beats Danny this week he becomes a legend too?

And because Anthony Mundine beat Danny in 2006 is he now retrospectively a legend?

And is Markus Beyer a 2x legend?

And do you always become what you beat?

Is Trevor Berbick for beating Muhummad Ali now the GOAT?

Is William Joppy for beating Duran now the greatest lightweight in history?

Is Chad Dawson for beating Bernard Hopkins now a cunt ?

Bloody confusing really...

Roy is a boxing tragedy in the making. Sadly it's only a matter of time.

I only agree with the top one, Green attained legend status after knocking out RJJ, RJJ contrary to popular belief was still a legit threat and was not shot, but Green was definitely past his chin prime when he suffered a lucky shot from a roided up Tarver.

Roy was quicker and more elusive in his prime, but if Danny can land that right hand at some point, and 36 minutes is a long time, then it's game over for Roy.

We don't know about fantasy matchups, we can only go off what actually happened when they met
