I honestly don't think that would make a difference to most who are complaining. He could win in Vegas, NY, wherever, and their would still be some unwarranted perception he has an unfair advantage. Im a bigger fan of Froch than Ward, but the guy is just THAT good. People are going to look for reasons to take away from him and this is just the easiest one in my opinion.

Well why did froch and kessler HAVE to fight in america in the interest of fairness ward should fight froch in uk and kessler in denmark and yes he probably will win but it will boost his standing greatly.

Fighting in your home country makes a huge difference but as we know this simply wont be happening when it comes to american fighters as they don't have a good record when they fight away.

Dont get me wrong.. I think Ward is a very good fighter even if you take away the dirty tactics and the home advantage. I just have a feeling Ward will duck a rematch with Kessler if it has to take place outside of cali... But then again who knows... Lets see what happens.

We'll see what happens. I've always liked Kessler to and wouldn't mind a rematch, I just don't think Ward owes him one unless he's in a mandatory position.

What exactly is "playing it safe"? Does he have some unfair advantage? Smaller gloves? Another guy in the ring with him helping him hit his opponents? This is exactly the type of excuse I was just discussing with Elvizzz.
