Why not? It's a good fight for Ward. He'll probably still win, get a fat paycheck, silence a ton of critics by showing he'll fight anywhere, and help build his legacy at 168. I like when champions rack up defenses before they move up in weight. I want to see Andre rule 168 with an iron fist like Wlad for 2-3 more years before he moves up. Kessler in Denmark is as good an option as any in that timespan.

To be fair,I dont think those critics who focus on the location of his fights,exist outside of ESB

You honestly think people talking shit about him traveling with shut up after he travels and beats a fighter he already schooled and beat down in what would be 4 years from when the fight happens? Esp since Kessler's been so inactive and probably won't look great vs Magee(most don't)?

They'll still call him a coward and a chicken and say hd only left home to beat a shot version of his own left overs. If they aren't already giving Ward the credit he deserves they never will. He could pull an Amelia Earhart on the boxing world and he will still be hated by these cunts on here.

Um, Ward did. I'd like to see it happen just to somewhat mollify the critics but I don't see how anyone can think that Kessler would have any more than a puncher's chance against Ward in a rematch even in Denmark. Kessler couldn't put hands on Ward the first time, regardless of views on the headbutts in that fight. What's changed between now and then that's going to make Ward more hittable except for Kessler probably getting worse after a war with Froch, some shaky moments against Green, and just generally getting older? Ward also has way more top level experience now than in that fight and is basically hitting his prime at present.

Regardless, Kessler isn't calling the shots, Ward is.

There's haters that'll rag on him if he knocks out Satan in Hell. I just want to see him be more active and rack some defenses up before he goes to 175, and Kessler in Denmark's as good an option for him as any.

I've actually been more entertained by Andre's fights lately and I'm glad he's opening his offense up. I hope he's more active in 2013.
