Something bizarre about this flintoff fight

So Flintoff is fighting Richard Dawson right.

Well I went on Google to research the guy and I kept getting links to kimbo slice.

So I looked a little deeper, and found several pages saying slice ko'd a "Richard Dawson" on the 12th of May 2012, only to go on boxrec, and there is no record of this.

There's even links to YouTube videos which have been removed.

What is going on?

Pretty sure Kimbo and Dawson were suposed to fight but it fell through. Yes Flintoff vs Dawson is at the MEN.

Anyone remember that Tommy Morrison comeback fight a few years back (HIV 'n all) where he fought some bloke in a bizarre staged hybrid boxing/MMA fight?

Something bizarre, besides the fact that it's a former Cricket player who's doing a sort of Boxing with the stars and get lots of attention for it.

Seems this guy's had 2 pro fights and won them both, plus he's had a little bit of amateur experience. I reckon Freddie will be out of his depth and will be extremely thankful to make it through in one piece. Fair play to Freddie, this can't be easy...

Can't find any pics of this guy though, so I'm wondering if he actually exists. They might wheel in somebody else at extremely late notice (I did read something about how his medical should be a "formality", so there's obviously some concern...)

He had that kickboxing-ish bout in a ring with a fat blob that was blatantly staged, and he fought an "MMA" bout and won after breaking a guys nose, but the guy later revelaed it was changed to standing punches (boxing with smaller gloves) only at the last minute.

I'm [pretty sure he had a fight with Kimbo lined up but it fell through.

He was set to fight Kimbo but it fell through so he is already in training and ready for Freddie.

I really like Flntoff but I hope he gets fucked up. Boxing isnt a sport you can learn to professional level in 6 months.
This bout devalues the sport in my opinion.

The general public will see this old cricketer knock a big plant pot over and will be raving at how good a boxer he is. People at work will bore the shit out of me with 'Flintoffs potential' forever more!

I would put Flintoff in with Audley. Let's see if he can handle an old, never was, domestic level heavyweight.
