I really like Bellew, and think he's improved no end both in and out of the ring.
But he's a little bit mechanical for me.Don't know if he could keep Chad's southpaw jab at bay. |

Bellew is a tough guy, and a decent pressure fighter with a high workrate. That really is about it though. We've seen before that his chin ain't exactly granite, and he is quite slow. He's also very sloppy and inaccurate with his punches. Think a guy like Dawson is a clear level above.

Dawson's more experianced and a better boxer but Bellew got a better workrate and arguably more power. I think...Dawson would be too much for Bellew at the moment, I dont think Bellew is as complete a fighter as he could be and Dawson would have the experiance and ability to take advantage of Bellew's flaws. A year or so down the line, if Bellew keeps improving, then I might change my mind, but for now I think Dawson still trumps him.

Oh, and I have Dawson on PTS. I don't think he'd ever fight Bellew, though. Plus, he has a tough fight ahead with old nemesis Jean Pascal coming up.
