We shouldn't forget rob mccraken is on record saying that they took the mac fight to help prepare them for future fights. What I read into that is that they have problems with slick boxers and therefore they want to work on boxing with a slick boxer. That means they anticipate pmack will give them problems.

I suspect Carl far prefers a tough challenge but at the same time,I wouldn't be surprised if he rose to the occasion.

I can see him frustrating Froch for a while but the way he's folded against tough, physical fighters in the past strongly suggest its only going to be a matter of time. He said before the Johnson fight that he was 'killing himself' to make 168 too.
