My feelings exactly. Very underrated win on Hopkins resume. Big middleweight too and the fight was recently on msg and Eastman gave Hopkins more trouble then I remember. In his prime he'd give any middleweight out there today a tough fight and beat a lot of them.. Except maybe Sergio.

Great chin, good power and skills.

Joppy was a very good fighter in his prime relax. And Eastman was NOT shut out.

Yeah, Hopkins does some nice, tricky stuff throughout. Still, not much of a fight, and Eastman's showing was really nothing to write home about.

He was quite good, fringe world class but a very lazy fighter must've been all the herb...
He's still plying his trade in guyana, won the middleweight title before his prison stint but lost his last couple thereby tarnishing his atg legacy...

He was one of my favourite fighters when he was active.

That said, he was mediocre.Bad balance, poor skills and one of the overall slowest middles i've ever seen at any level of ability.

He had solid power and was a big strong middleweight with a good chin.Threw a very nice uppercut with both hands, but that was it really.He would have been lucky to hold a Euro title in a deeper era for the regions middles(almost any pre-mid 90s to be honest)far less get to world title shots.
