I think this is a decent signing for the Korean promotion. It seems like there is a natural order where the older fighters are coming to Asian shows to fight some up and coming Korean fighters and the best fighters move to the UFC. So far Melvin Manhoef and Dennis Kang as well as older Japanese Pride fighters have been on the card. Give it 4 years Road FC will be reasonably big. If I was an out of contract fighter I would consider these up and coming Asian promotions. I'm thinking specifically about Josh Barnett after Strikforce. |

more and more fighters seem to be following Jeff and fighting in different promotions. They realize that Zuffa is a sinking ship.
Zuffa might have a few good fighters but many more are over the hill. All their fighters seem to be fighting the same guys over and over. All these Asian and European promotions is getting on a roll, with bigger names, new prospects, and growing popularity. The opposite of UFC. |

Monson looked absolutely terrible against Aleks E, despite getting the W. His takedown shots looked more like straight up faceplants. Aleks fought like an idiot and paid for it. The only way Monson wins these days is if his opponents cooperate with his completely one dimensional game.

Its highly unlikely the UFC will go to the wall. Its too well capitalized now and has a monopoly. That said its current demise is entirely its own doing. You can't saturate the market reach critical mass, kill all notable opposition and expect fans to still remain interested. Get rid of Dana and MMA's problems will be solved. The sport doesn't need a megalomaniac at the helm.
