Nope. Mitchell was mentioned alongside Wilder as one of America's top contenders. Fans, Trainers, and Fighters mentioned his name often. FACT.

How far the American division has fallen. I reckon even Travis Walker would have knocked out Mitchell last night. Banks getting too much credit because he's in the Klitshko camp.

it's a good story.

part time fighter/sparring partner/trainer fights in what was a way to legitimize mitchells claim as the best american hope at heavyweight. and in his 30's he isnt young enough to really change his ways and might be looking at a possible retirement. his trainer, manager and father figure passes away. takes over as head coach for wlad. then wins in a fight he was supposed to roll over for.

it's also a nice touch 2nd round ko in such a good performance on home ground.

Emotional win. What a boxing night last night, this is one of the reasons why we all love the sport.

Congratulations to Banks, I was SOOO wrong about the outcome of the fight.
I think Mitchell is done for, he'll drop back to fighting bums for a while and then will be sent by GBP to slaughter against some other rising boxer to get some return on investment.

It's a great story and what makes it better is that Banks is one of boxings good guys. I'm made up for him.
