ESPN's HW Lineage Page

I can't post the link or else the mods will flip out, but if you go to ESPN's site and check their boxing page you'll find a very cool HW Championship Lineage timeline. It goes all the way back to the 1880's with Sullivan - complete with photos and even videos of most of the fighters.

Go to the boxing page and about half way down on the right side you'll see a link to the gallery. A VERY cool feature that all HW boxing fans should check out. For you newbies and youngsters on this board, it'd be a good reference to catch up on some history.

I'm not a Wlad fan but yes he is certainly the lineal champion. He holds the Ring belt because he beat the top contender.

Lewis retired and vacated the lineal title. Vitali picked it up after beating top contender. Vitali retired thus vacating the lineal title and Wlad picked it up in 2009 with the win over Ruslan Chagaev.
It's simple to follow the heavyweight lineage.
