Default Bryant Jennings will face Bowie Tupou.

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

The next opponent for promising American heavyweight Bryant Jennings (15-0,7 KOs) will be a boxer from Tonga Bowie Tupou (22-2, 16 KO's), according to Fightnews.com.Tupou is very strong physically, but in terms of skills,he's not boxer of the highest level,so it's unlikely he will be able to create problems in the ring for Jennings.

Fight will take place-December 8 in Philadelphia and will be broadcast on NBC.

Weird, coming off a loss and all. Not that bad a choice for a prospect, still polishing his skills, though. But, I'd like him to get matched against a guy like Oquendo or Grant, soon. I think that's better match-making, honestly. He can handle it, all likelihood.

what a shit fight. tupou just got his ears boxed off by Malik Scott, why not Jennings vs Scott? That would be a great fight with implications.

Yes, a shit fight.

Just another record-padder. I thought Jennings was about to make a serious leap up in opposition.

Sigh .....

it's his 16th fight and Jennings has been boxing for 3 years. it's not a bad opponent.

better opponent than steve collins and a hell of a lot better than koval.

also, "Tupou recently has reunited with trainer Jeff Mayweather after a few years of separation."

Chris Mannix twitter: "Tor Hamer turns down @BYJennings"
Can't really shit on Jennings or Peltz/Main Events for that. which sucks because Jennings-Hamer is a FIGHT.

and for you Mr. Ears and company, from Peltz Boxing facebook page:

"While trying to get someone to challenge Bryant Jennings for the USBA title on Dec. 8 at Temple University in Philadelphia and on NBC Sports Network, the following heavyweights said no to a fight with Jennings--Brian Minto, Fres Oquendo, Albert Sosnowski, Deontay Wilder, David Rodriguez, Tor Hamer and Mark di Mori."

sorry for the 8th post in a row but anyways.

Well, as a Hamer fan, I really have no recourse but to call you a Pactard Flomo and insult your parentage and call you a liar. I'm sorry, that's just the way it works here. It doesn't have to make sense.

I'm glad they have the confidence in him to offer to Wilder, Rodriguez and Hamer though. Of course, then again, I can't say what was offered and if it was fair so it's not like I can judge anyone for not taking the offer either.
Even though you are a lying Pactard Flomo, born of a dog. (again, sorry, it's just the standard, here)

Nice to see Jennings staying active, its a decent fight at this stage of his career.

He's had very little am experience & is still a novice, he needs more seasoning & Bowie is a half-decent opponent.

Onwards & upwards for Bryant

Can't knock Jennings for this atleast he's keeping busy, Wilder and Hamer did turn down fights with him so atleast he tried.
