I'd give Saad a puncher's chance, but that's about it. Roy would have outclassed him.

Saad is far too hittable to stay with the likes of Roy over 12. A conclusive points victory for Superman.

Roy has stuff going for him here, but I'd be inclined to go with Matt more often than not. As hittable as he was, I actually think he was as good a boxer as Jones, at least on the offensive front. Crippling power aside, his punches were really accurate, he set himself up really well and the attack when it came was very varied and multi-dimensional. He was an excellent counter puncher too and had a long reach. A package of a kind that Jones has never had to face before.

Roy's speed, timing and generalship would all serve him really well, especially as Saad was quite hittable, but my fear is that the pot shotting approach I think he'd try to take wasn't really proven or necessarily effective against someone with Saad's attacking prowess, range and output. He might well be forced to exchange or even tempted to do so by Saad's openness.

Obviously his speed was incredible and his punch selection generally very good, but he had a tendency to leap in at times, which might work for a time, but I get the idea that Saad would time him sooner or later, probably after taking a few to get the range and timing down. And it comes down to how Roy handles it when it happens and what you make of his chin.

Even if Saad didn't take him out with one punch, he was still a fierce combo hitter with a really good follow up finishing attack. Again, Roy might well get by, but I reckon he'd become negative from that point on to a degree where Saad might well able to dictate the pace and increase his own output enough to convince the judges. He'd come on strong in the latter stages too, especially over 15.

Intriguing fight.

Jones would simply outspeed Sadd...but Sadd would be dangerous all the way, and definitely has a puncher's chance.
