I honestly think it would harm his resume. In 1985 when Larry Holmes signed to fight Michael Spinks, the critics belittled him and suggested that perhaps Marvin Hagler be his next opponent after Spinks. The ridicule that Louis would have received would have been legendary.

Louis beats Lamotta badly but there have been Middleweights that could not make it there but moved up well, Bobby Cyz gave Holyfield some trouble (a Don ****ell of sorts and Jimmy Ellis lost to Carter (got dropped) and was dropped but did well at Heavyweight louis though was a case of a very great heavyweight vs a great middleweight

I'm not a ****ing retard i know that he was a middleweight i know that Louis would have won easily i'm asking if Louis would have carried him or have knocked him out and how it would of affected Louis and Lamottas carrers
