In any case, for the boxing fan, I think this new arrangement of Soliman having to fight Sturm in order to fight for the IBF title pleases most. |

Fail to understand why so called “Eliminator” when according to current IBF ratings Soliman is #1, #2 Not rated & Sturm is #3 ??
The whole thing is on the nose...not to mention Sturm is supposedly the promoter. |

This fight is a good outcome for everyone it seems to me.
Good for Sam because he collects the best payday on offer. Good for Sturm because he positions himself to lock in a rematch with Geale. Good for Geale because once the Mundine fight is done (if he wins) a rematch with Sturm in Germany will be the best payday on offer for him. Plus Geale is capable of winning over there again. If he does (that's another if) he can then take the best money fight on offer once again (either SS or GGG). Good for the IBF because they get their defending champion to make a mandatory defence that is in the fighter's own best interests to take. Those are the kind of mandatories no-one has a problem with. It's only going to be a bad outcome if Mundine & Soliman win. The Man v Sam IV? Get the fuck outta here! |

Great results! Geale mundine was pretty average but Soliman coming back after being dropped in rd2 to win unanimously was a great fight. Geale vs Soliman will be high pace with a hell of a lot of punches thrown
