Dirrell is an excellent boxer with an excellent amateur background, unfortunately for him, his resilience and mental fortitude does not match his talent.

He fought a desperately negative fight (hate to repeat myself). He did make Froch look utterly horrible, but at the end of the day, Froch tried to initiate a fight, Dirrell did everything (even outside the rulebook) to prevent a fight, or even a boxing contest, to occur.
