Default wbo drop boytsov from #1 to #2 and helinius is now #1 lol..

i have a funny feeling the wbo is gonna make #1 ranked robert helinius fight #2 ranked denis boytsov in a wbo elimination bout for the wbos main man

if this happens do you pick helinius to win or boytsov????
my moneys on boystov/ helinius looked horrid against sherman the tankk williams who rocked helinius badly in rd #6= boytsov would finish him....

I also heard this.

As for the potential fight...Eh...It's hard to say: Helenius' loc has been higher, but he hasn't looked impressive lately (looked bad against Williams and Chisora, albeit he was injured in the latter contest); Boystov has fought nobody of note, either.

I guess Boystov UD or late TKO, maybe. If Helenius showed up in shape he would win, though, I think.

Boytsov is a terrible fighter.
No one seems to get on his case about having fought c level journeymen for going on 9 years now.
No one mentions that he only fights like twice a year or less.
Boytsov has no ambition,no head movement and no desire to please the crowd. He often gets bored in the ring and fails to KO people.

Helenius will beat him most likely but Helenius we now know was over hyped as much as anyone.

I think Boytsov vs. Helenius is a great fight for the division, two not-fully-tested contenders who each happen to be undefeated. The winner will help legitimize himself as the WBO mandatory, in line with Povetkin for the the WBA, and Pulev for the IBF. Wladimir may have an awesome and busy 2013 ahead of him.

Helenius almost got ko'd by Sherman Williams so he gets a top ranking for it

Tyson Fury and David Price have way better capabilities

Sure they do. Constantly. Where have you been?

I agree he sometimes looks bored and doesn't put on a show, but " fails to KO people?" Uh, the guy has 25 KO's in 31 fights, and more than half of those are actual KO's, not TKO's. Before his last fight with Guinn, he had seven in a row.

Do you just write whatever comes out of your ass? Dude .....

Boytsov is a decent fighter with limited defensive skills, but God-like power in both hands. Most people have given up hope on him because he keeps getting injured and / or puling out of good fights, but he's still worth keeping an eye on. Calling him "terrible" is absurd, to put it mildly.

The no head movement always makes me laugh too. Just because its subtle doesnt mean he doesn't have it, you dont have to be bobbing and weaving all over the place to avoid punches and Denis is actually good at slipping punches.

Its one of his main defensive tools and it also generates alot of his offense as he will slip and counter while closing distance with his quick feet. Thats how he gets inside alot of the time.

As for his disater of a career its Universum same way they screwed Erdei, Dzinziruk, Golovkin etc and its even worse now since they're on the verge of bankruptcy. Boytsov publicly criticised them a couple months ago and i hope he can get out of his contract soon but as the 3 boxers above demonstrate its ****ing difficult to do with those assholes. Haters are impervious to anything besides blind hate though. I hope we get to see him fight Helenius or Fury in the next few months.

If we could actually get Boytsov in there with Helenius it would be a great gift. The kind we should be accustomed to getting, though.

I agree this is a good fight, and the winner makes a good contender to fight Wlad. Neither of them should fight Wlad right away.
